“ The food (particularly the sushi) was stunning! So fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly, polite and attentive ”
“ We had an amazing experience for dinner here. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating when we called ahead to let them know we were running late for our reservation. The menu offered a great selection of delicious dishes. We ordered several items, including fried chicken karaage, crispy squid, chicken katsu curry, and seaweed salad. However, our favorite dishes were the signature sushi rolls. I especially enjoyed the prawn tempura rolls and the vegan dragon rolls, which paired wonderfully with the fries. The have a good tea and dessert menu too. ”
“ My favorite Japanese reastaurant in London. I went there by myself for lunch. The manager Mr.Brandi treated me very well. He recommended me Butterfish Tataki, Spicy Chutoro Rolls, Chicken Karaage Bao Buns with a nice cocktail. His choices were just right. They have many varieties of choices. The atmosphere was lovely so we can go there for casual lunch and occasional dinner as well. I really would like to go back! ”
“ Family of four..had the tasting menu. Fantastic food, with great choice of sashimi, sushi, large platters..highly recommend miso cod, salmon teriyaki and kimchi rice for those who need a bit more. In itself the tasting menu has varied dishes and was more than enough for each of us. The staff are very friendly..a big shout to Elissa who was Japanese herself and her lovely personality added to our experience...great value for money.. definitely be returning soon for more...brought memories of izakaya restaurants in Tokyo for me and hubby...bit like Spanish tapas but with Japanese cuisine ( for those who don't know...) ”
“ Absolutely delicious food with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Great service. Everything was so fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. Lovely place, very chic setting but still comfortable. We ate via First Table so it was amazing value, but I would be happy to pay full price here. Even full price was good value. ”
“ Lovely Japanese restaurant on Old Street. Food is all excellent, attractive tableware and well presented food. Really nice for a casual dinner. I recommend the sweet potato croquettes and volcano rolls. I don't often opt for black cod as its often disappointing, in so much as being a bit tough and chewy, but this one was some of the best I've had. Really relaxed and informal. ”
“ Had a really lovely meal after calling in on spec to see if they could seat us with no reservation. Great range of dishes offered, and the presentation was good - with sashimi being served on shaved ice and decorated with edible flowers, reminiscent of meals we had in Kyoto. We chose a mixed sashimi platter, spider roll, chicken karaage, ebi tempura and delicious sweet potato croquettes. Everything was freshly prepared and generously portioned - the quality of the sashimi being a particular highlight, as well as the choice of sake and Japanese whiskey by the glass. Our server Jak make us feel very welcome and looked after a!nd we can't wait to visit again. ”
“ Unbelievable food and service would highly recommend! Saif who served us was so attentive and thoughtful, some of the best service I have ever received. Food was lovely and fresh, great atmosphere will definitely be back! (Definitely recommend the soft shell crab and beef Tataki 10/10) ”
